AIM Program- Harlem Wizards at Asphalt Green

I saw the Harlem Wizards on TV, on Bronx 12, Oct 13th, in a program to encourage High School kids, at asphalt Green, a playing area and complex and 91st street and York Ave in Manhattan, pretty close to Harlem. One player talking to the kids is now on a basketball scholarship at Hostra University in Long Island, NY. Asphalt Green is a not for profit center where there is a pool and other fun stuff. From what I can tell, the Harlem Wizards are a basketball team that travels around with various fun antics for children, sort of like the Harlem Globetrotters. There's even a press release on their website where they went to Beijing. The theory is to get kids having fun playing basketball, and also get them involved with their school work.
