Fireside Chat with Mike Billington, February 22, 2018, 9pm EST: The past week's developments brought us the aged British gruel of Mueller's so-called Russiagate indictment, the FBI's outrageous dereliction of duty in the Florida shootings, followed by major dangerous escalations by the Anglo-Americans in Ukraine and Syria -- Obama's flashpoints for his New Cold War with Russia and China.
All of this is one coherent picture: The coup in the U.S. must be preserved, even if its chief claims are now recognized as preposterous and absurd. The FBI, turned into an informant factory by Robert Mueller and absorbed by running stings against the hapless, has lost the ability to recognize a public danger even when it is tipped about it repeatedly. The Anglo-Americans, slaves to the paradigm of the Anglo-Dutch Empire, which Lyndon LaRouche identified as the real sickness, the real danger, are simply incapable of the creativity required to take mankind to the next stage of its progressive development. They are only capable of manipulations of a population which they have collapsed into a New Dark Age.
How do we mobilize those in our society who now yearn for the deeper, truer voice of actual humankind? How do we educate the passions toward a realization which benefits the whole of humanity, so that we find that voice, 'capable of communicating and receiving intense and impassioned conceptions respecting man and nature?' How do we become Shelley's poets... 'the hierophants of an unapprehended inspiration; the mirrors of the gigantic shadows which futurity casts upon the present; the words which express what they understand not; the trumpets which sing to battle, and feel not what they inspire; the influence which is moved not, but moves... the unacknowledged legislators of the world?'
Join us for tonight's discussion.
