36 Artists at AIM at Bronx Museum




These are more of the audios from the Bronx Museum, the AIM 36 artists exhibit. Bx Museum 165 and Gr Concourse, next show Sept 14. Near Harlem, over Willis Ave. Bridge.

Bill Lorb- Wet spot, which addresses the Hurricane Katrina incident and corporate corruption. He creates his own narratives based on political and social events. It is made of highly polished cardboard.

Woman from Old Chatham NY- photographs from horse racing tracks, from the last 20 seconds of the horse race, when the spectators are going crazy, and feel the desire.

Guiseppe Luciani- paintings depicting the view from his apartment studio. It comprises the backyard and the houses. It is an account and banal quotidian rhythym of everyday life in the city.

Brian Lunn- Lives in Ridgewood Qns- 75 drawings. Rambo, First Blood 2. The drawings have been translated so to speak, to represent the characters. He has been studying motion pictures, and uses a little DVD player in his studio. Learned alot.

MCCN- Master of None- Mobilize- It's a tricycle with a system of attachment, it can be used to go out into the Bronx. It has a moving picture show, with popcorn and theres music. It has the wandering work bench. So you could go out and party and work on this tricycle. It has a portable pantry and kitchen too, to collect plants from public space.

Kelly Miller- The True believer. A cyclical format. Buttressed by a spinning crystal in outer space. A gypsy is guiding the viewer through a metatative experience.
