Barack Obama talked politics, with Bill Clinton, who knows a thing or two about winning. Their 90-minute lunch in Harlem, New York, came as some Democrats worried that Obama has lost his political je-ne-sais-quoi. Nevertheless, Bubba himself says "I predict that Senator Obama will win and will win pretty handily," the former president said as Obama stood next to him. "That's what I think is going to happen."
He's even gonna do some campaigning in Florida for Obama. That, or with the cooler temperatures in late September, Bill wants to get some rays and show off his ripe bod. During the Democratic primary, Clinton was accused of making racially charged comments. He was also slow to endorse Obama but finally made a forceful case for his candidacy or at least for being able to speak at Democratic meeting for $40,000 a shot, by being loyal to the party.
