Here it is, some art from the "Other, Other" show, from the Bronx Arts Council, at the Longwood Gallery, Hostos College, 450 Grand Concourse, Bronx NY. The first picture, that of the "lights and ducky show" is by artists Juan Sanchez and Alfonso Munoz. It is surely holiday oriented and able to amuse the kids. The second image is of Jessica Lagunas, "Courage and Bravery." What high heeled shoes have to do with courage and bravery I have no idea. Maybe it's her first date. Image #3 is "Hair" by artists, Lisa and Janelle Iglesias, made out of synthetic hair and wire. I guess it's hair today and gone tomorrow, because the show is over. Next show is the Loiza, Puerto Rico exhibit, opening on September 22nd.
