You sit in your room and pound on the computer keyboard hoping that your $10-an-hour will be enough for you to survive. Then you know that it isn't. The economic and financial crash and telecommuting are an interesting pair. With the big crash in foreclosures hitting this year, it could be a drag. Four million households may not have a home to telecommute from. Of course, if you have a laptop, you can work from a homeless shelter if you have a quiet and comfortable room.
