Iran Israel War Threat Continues

Will There Be Thermonuclear Fireworks by the Fourth of July? | https://share.google/FdArx298WrYHpJ6Vx

June 22, 2025—Helga Zepp-LaRouche, the founder of the Schiller Institute, stated: “Since the unprovoked attack on Iran, first by Israel and then by the United States, is not only tearing down the system of international law, but has put us on a course towards World War III, I am calling on all people of good will around the world to publish and circulate this statement by The LaRouche Organization in the U.S. in whatever form possible, and help us to mobilize an international united peace movement in all countries of the planet.”

Your life, in as little as a few days or weeks, could end in an “accidental thermonuclear war,” triggered by the dropping of a tactical nuclear device on Iran, either by a renegade Israel, or by the United States, or by Israel with the agreement of the United States. What happens next, will be determined by the reports regarding the successful, or unsuccessful, destruction of the sites.

Here is a question: if the sites were not destroyed, or if Iran announces it is able to rebuild, what will happen then? Will the use of tactical nuclear weapons be the next step?

The driving force for these events is not in “the Middle East.” It is in the global shift in economic power away from the bankrupt trans-Atlantic NATO “Anglosphere” nations, inhabited by the “golden billion,” to the seven billion other people in the world, typified by the BRICS nations. Iran, a member of the BRICS, wants nuclear power, not nuclear weapons. The intent of the War Party is to use the United States, once an anti-imperial nation, as a battering ram against the BRICS, starting with Iran.

With its attack on Iran, the United States has rejected what its greatest diplomat, President John Quincy Adams, characterized as its very nature: “(America) goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy…She well knows that by once enlisting under other banners than her own…she would involve herself beyond the power of extrication, in all the wars of interest and intrigue…The fundamental maxims of her policy would insensibly change from liberty to force.….She might become the dictatress of the world. She would be no longer the ruler of her own spirit.” By breaking his pledge that he would keep the United States out of war, President Donald Trump has now fallen into the policy-grip of the War Party.

If you think that means “the Israelis,” you are mistaken. They are the match, but who sets the fires? Is that the role that Tony Blair, Jonathan Powell, Sir Richard Dearlove, Sir Peter Mandelson and others from the City Of London are playing in Washington right now? Are we watching a reprise of London’s role in starting the Iraq war, in particular giving George Bush his infamous sixteen words—“The British Government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa”—when there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq? Is this similar to the role that the British Ministry of Defense, through its Project Alchemy, has played in the attacks deep into Russian territory that also threaten nuclear war?

Israel has nuclear and thermonuclear weapons, and has had them for over 60 years. That ugly, open secret is why nations like Iran, whatever you may choose to think of their policies, have acted as they have. If the Iranian sites were in fact not destroyed, the danger is that some crazy from the bowels of the Pentagon will now propose, “The only ‘dead certain’ way forward is to use ‘tactical’ nuclear weapons.”

Stop and think about what the following report from Newsweek, June 20, actually means. “The Trump administration has not taken anything ‘off the table,’ including the use of tactical nuclear weapons, if it decides to take military action against the underground Iranian nuclear facility at Fordow, Fox News reported, citing a White House official.” In response to these reports, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the only responsible thing: “There have been a lot of speculations. This would be a catastrophic development, but there are so many speculations that in fact, it’s impossible to comment on them.”

No matter what you are told, by the White House, by the Pentagon, or anyone else, there is no such thing as the use of one “tactical” nuclear weapon. In the words of Annie Jacobsen, author of Nuclear War: A Scenario, “If nuclear war begins, it doesn’t end until there is a nuclear holocaust. And it happens so fast. There is no quickly going to your secret bunker.”

What does Russia do, if America, or Israel, deploys the first nuclear bomb used since Hiroshima and Nagasaki 80 years ago? Last week, America’s ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, wrote to President Trump, “No president in my lifetime has been in a position like yours. Not since Truman in 1945.”

Let this be clear: President Truman dropping the atomic bomb in 1945 was not essential to ending the war. Dropping the bomb on an already surrendering Japan was necessary to begin the next world war, planned by Britain’s Winston Churchill one month after Franklin Roosevelt died in April 1945. In May, Churchill proposed “Operation Unthinkable,” a plan to immediately nuke the Soviet Union with American-made bombs, to “impose the will of the United States and the British Empire,” in the plan’s actual words.

The use of nuclear weapons has always been wrong, has never been necessary, and is never other than a tool of imperial force. We, the people of the United States, and we, the people of the world, must stop the madness of governments and fanatics. The nations of the Global Majority, and especially the BRICS nations, of which Iran is a member, must have their voices heard. Nations should not be brought to the conclusion that the only way to retain and defend their sovereignty is to build nuclear weapons.

In Southwest Asia, we need a consortium of regional countries, working with the United States, Russia and China, to create a nuclear weapons-free zone–which has to include Israel joining the IAEA and signing the Non-Proliferation Treaty, as Iran did. A crash program for the peaceful use of nuclear power as an energy source, for water desalination and other purposes, needs to involve all nations in the region. A New Security and Development Architecture, based on diplomacy, not assassinations and war, must result from actions taken in the next hours and days.

The period ahead is more dangerous than the time of the Cuban Missile Crisis. Now is the time to act. Circulate this message. Discuss it in every way possible. Get on the phone to Congress and go to their offices. Read and circulate the Ten Principles for A New Security and Development Architecture proposed by Helga Zepp-LaRouche.

It is up to the people to save themselves, and civilization itself, by speaking out and acting up. The world needs to hear from free citizens that say, “No to assassinations, regime changes, and thermonuclear war!” It is time, now, to change our world, before there is no world left to change.

On June 3, the U.S. State Department prevented U.S. citizen Scott Ritter from boarding his flight to St. Petersburg, Russia, and seized his passport. Ritter, a former U.S. Marine officer and United Nations weapons inspector who has become a prominent opponent of the current war policy, was traveling to participate in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), which is being attended by an estimated 19,000 people and 3,400 media representatives from some 130 countries. Ritter was subsequently able to participate in the SPIEF panel via Zoom.

In addition to the clear First and Fourth Amendment Constitutional issues raised by the Ritter case, the content of what Ritter was going to discuss is key: the need to improve U.S.-Russian relations and stop the escalating danger arising from NATO’s current posture towards Russia, as seen most starkly in Ukraine, which is dragging the world towards a nuclear World War III.

The May 22 attack on a critical Russian early-warning radar system at Armavir, purportedly by “Ukrainian” drones, could have been the event which tipped the balance towards war—because it could have confirmed for Russia their stated belief that NATO and the West are intent on “blinding” Russia’s early-warning system in preparation for a possible “preemptive decapitation” strike by the U.S. and NATO against them. Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stated exactly this concern, publically, and it is the height of arrogant foolishness of the West to dismiss this as a “bluff,” as so many in Washington, London and other NATO capitals are now doing.

As dangerous as attempting to blind Russia’s early-warning radar, are the efforts to silence opposition voices who function as a kind of “early-warning” system in the domain of policy deliberation—those who are warning of the danger of nuclear war, and are presenting alternatives to a policy of confrontation.

On Wednesday, June 12 at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., a distinguished panel of four experts will each make brief presentations on these topics, and will respond to questions from the media, both in person and over an international Zoom link (with simultaneous interpretation into German, French and Spanish for audiences in those countries).

Israel and Gaza in a Time of War

it's the Anglo Americans, see schillerinstitute.com

We need peace with development. So much danger of a nuclear war, and we need a ceasefire in Ukraine-Russia and also in Israel-Gaza.

because they want to bomb Yemen and lots of other places.... sabotage the Brics (Brazil Russia India China South-Africa) assoc... But we are no longer "on the way to the abyss" - we are in a free dive that will lead to a complete crash. This is no longer the IDF (note the letter L in the word "without"), not the Israel Defense Forces, not even the attack army, and the fighting or rescue of Israel; it is a political revenge army. Arab-Rav of gangs. No command, no management , without discipline, without law and without accountability

time to mobilize... artist for peace, anyone for peace.... before this war in Ukraine gets us all blown up....

Petition for Artists:

Poet of Freedom Friedrich Schiller’s
“The Artists” Shall Be the Standard for Overturning the Cultural Breakdown that Obstructs Peace and Drives Mankind to Global Nuclear War

Please sign at link

Humanity has arrived again at the crossroads anticipated during the period of the American Revolution by Friedrich Schiller, the Poet of Freedom, who in 1785 published the work known in virtually all languages, the “Ode to Joy,” where it is declared: “All Mankind will become Brothers” (“Alle Menschen werden Brueder”). The poem had such a great impact in that era, that composer Ludwig van Beethoven spent decades of his life pinpointing the “seed crystal” embedded within the poem which would finally blossom into his final four-movement symphony, itself a monument to the principles of classical composition.

This reference point must be awakened in the hearts and minds of all those who view themselves as “Artists,” if our civilization is now to succeed in mankind taking the crossroads announced by the leaders of the BRICS, on Aug. 22-24, and other associations coming together to create a New Just World Economic reorganization of the collapsing dollar-based financial system, and end the spread of global war, which if allowed to continue will definitely become nuclear war.

Among the Artists of the last century, the internationally renowned violin soloist Yehudi Menuhin, a devoted advocate for the foundation of the United Nations, exemplified Schiller’s portrayal of that true Artist whose determination to eliminate the causes of war left a legacy to be followed.

Ever optimistic about the potential for advancing mankind’s condition, Schiller had estimated in his time that the anti-colonial American Revolution could be replicated in a transformation of governments in parts of Europe, ending the vestiges of Medieval practices which squatted upon all aspects of progress in the human condition. With Benjamin Franklin posted to France, the true leaders of the American Revolution had a strong impact upon a European “intelligentsia” from France to German centers such as Goettingen University, to Italy, and Ireland and other parts of the British Isles, who participated in multiple ways to support the breakthrough in America, the origins of which traced back to the influence of such prominent Europeans as Gottfried Leibniz and his work on scientific economics.

Schiller’s optimism was justified, but premature. The forces of progress in the European countries did not have the strength or means to squash the furious attack launched by the London/Swiss European oligarchy, who crushed this potential by ripping up France’s political system and imposing the dictator Napoleon upon the continent, whose wars raged across the continent for nearly two decades. Thus, was launched the countdown embedded in the western world for a sequence of British Imperial wars that began with the 1757 “Seven Years War/French and Indian Wars,” and persisted through World Wars I and II.

Schiller’s optimism that such a global tragedy affecting all mankind can be reversed is reflected in the content and method he used in his dramas on the histories of many nations in the world. It is up to us to seize this optimism today and deploy Schiller’s ideas on the true nature of the human family of mankind to now accomplish what was impossible two centuries ago: namely, a process of global peaceful development of the planet as a whole.

Schiller’s Poem The Artists (download a PDF)

In 1789, Schiller published The Artists, (Die Künstler), a “Thought-Poem” which he called an “allegory” because it reconstructs the process by which the advancement of humanity, since earliest creation, required—and then generated—creative genius in artistic or aesthetic modes to nurture the creative capacity of mankind. It has been hard-won creative discoveries, the “allegory” portrays, which has enabled mankind to arise to implement solutions to the crises that threaten human physical survival; and equally important, to then found principles by which all of the cultures that comprise civilization can cooperate, peacefully, from new knowledge gained, to foster the benefit of all.

Schiller offered, in his allegory poem, this tribute to those who become the leading Artists:

How beautifully, 0 man, with your branch of palm,

you stand on the century's slope, in proud and noble manliness,

With open mind, with spirits high, stern yet gentle, in active stillness,

The ripest son of time -

Free through reason, strong through laws,

Through meekness great, and rich with treasures long lain

      dormant within your breast;

Lord of nature who loves your chains,

Who tests your strength in countless battles,

Who under you emerged resplendent from the wilderness!

. . .

The bee can outstrip you in diligence,

The worm can be your teacher in skillfulness,

You share your knowledge with all superior spirits,

But you alone, O man, have art.

. . .

Only through beauty’s morning-gate

Did you penetrate the land of knowledge. (emphasis added)

The time has come for Schiller’s poem to be adopted as the standard for a revival of classical principles of culture, to secure this moment of great historic opportunity, so that humanity is uplifted to a more advanced cultural plateau from which it can shape policy on behalf of the Good, rather than the repetitive assumptions constantly leading mankind to wars; and to establish economic justice as the recognized foundation for trustful dialogue between nations. The Schiller Institute calls upon all Artists —painters, musicians, actors, as well as scientists, who introduce new ideas into society—to embrace and uphold Schiller’s view of the role of The Artist in society, so that at this historic conjuncture, the cause of peaceful cooperation between nations, will be defended.

Without the dedicated presence of those advocates of classical principles in art in society, to open “beauty’s morning-gate” to expand our knowledge and our moral strength, there always exists the danger of nations degenerating into a sludge of pessimism because of the mortal nature of our individual existence. What in fact is the ultimate purpose of life? As humans, we do not live, as argued by the British 18th century philosophers, simply to “seek Pleasure and avoid Pain.” There truly is an immortal purpose to our mortal existences.

As Schiller wisely warns those inspired by universal phenomena to become Artists:

The dignity of mankind has been placed in your hands;

Never abandon it!

It sinks with you! With you it will ascend!

Poetry’s sacred magic

Serves a widely-laid universal plan;

Steer it calmly toward the ocean

Of the great harmony!

The UN General Assembly and Musician Yehudi Menuhin’s Legacy

In search of the process by which mankind could replace war with reconciliation of conflicts by other means, Yehudi Menuhin became fascinated by the natural harmony of art with the creative discoveries that advance science. He advocated applying Einstein’s discoveries on the atom to the development of nuclear power. In 1959 he wrote:

“The creative act is as much a part of science as it is of art, and as it must be of every living gesture…. Undoubtedly art and science were and will always be one…. I conceive of art as the organization of a living moment and science as the crystallization of an eternal truth.”

The practical significance of this view of Art is the following:

On September 21, world leaders will assemble at the United Nations for International Peace Day. The Schiller Institute conducted a conference on Sept. 9 based on an Appeal to the Citizens of the Global North: We Must Support the Construction of a New Just World Economic Order! The proceedings of that conference can be sent to all organizations dedicated to war avoidance. The conference reflected the work of the International Peace Coalition (IPC), inspired by Helga Zepp-LaRouche, which assembled a broad-based alliance of international leaders on Aug. 6 at the Dag Hammarskjold Plaza of the UN, in solemn memory of the nuclear attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

The Schiller Institute had been created by Helga Zepp-LaRouche in 1984 to foster a new dynamic in world diplomacy and relations between nations, grounded in the economic policy discoveries of Physical Economist and 8-time United States Presidential candidate Lyndon LaRouche. The concept behind the decades of work of the Schiller Institute was to act, preemptively, to seize the great moment of crises that, as Schiller identified in his work on Aesthetic education and classical principles, prepare humanity for an upward development of civilization when the crushing force of global poverty, the breakdown of the dollar system as LaRouche forecast in 1971, and the danger of nuclear annihilation finally shock people to build alliances around truthful solutions to these problems.

We stand today, in fact, on the “slope of a millennium,” from which the changes already under deliberation, such as the Aug. 22-24 BRICS conference in Johannesburg, South Africa, portend a long-awaited shifting point in world history. We have a chance to improve the conditions of mankind and overcome both poverty and war as has never before transpired in human experience.

That moment of potential dramatic change, which would end a near millennium of imposed backwardness in human history, is now upon us. As noted by the great English poet Percy Shelley, great thinkers and poets look with anticipation for those rare moments, when quite suddenly, large numbers of people, including those who attempt to lead the institutions of government, become susceptible of “receiving and imparting profound ideas concerning man and nature,” allowing an elevation of human thought and culture to uplift the condition of entire nations.

The true Artist plays an indispensable role in empowering nations and individuals to succeed in this process. After World War II, United Nations advocate Menuhin lived a beautiful life, proving that Artistic genius is a natural companion of political morality. Contrary to the modernistic culture being spread today, he did not bend to the popular view that artists are motivated primarily by personal gratification and oblivious of what is viewed as “politics.”

Deceased in 1999, Menuhin has been increasingly “air-brushed” out of public mention as leading media have become the outlet for war-mongering racism typified by the “Russophobia,” coordinated by NATO and related military-industrial financial circles, to impose a “thought dictatorship” in support of their proxy war against Russia.

Menuhin was determined after World War II to turn his musical work into an aesthetic force that would prevent the atrocities of war from recurring. For an unprecedented six years, Menuhin was President of the UN’s International Music Council. After playing 500 concerts for Allied troops during World War II, he insisted that governments allow him in 1945 to perform in Russia and then Germany, to immediately begin restoring human relations between the people living in the adversarial nations. By 1952, Menuhin became a close personal friend of India’s first post-colonial Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, and worked closely with India’s leading teacher of ancient music Ravi Shankar. Named UNESCO’s Ambassador of Goodwill in 1992, he told media, “We have to inculcate a respect for every other human being…. We have to develop a new form of thought which is not based on the reflexes of the caveman.” Music, he stated, is “the greatest therapeutic agent in the world.” It can change people “if they’re willing to listen. But if they’re already caught up in the madness, in the desire for revenge, for coercive power over others, then it’s too late.” He upheld the classical notion that the nature of all members of the human species is “naturally creative.”

We, as Artists, call for a revival of the Schillerian standard for the role of Artistic discovery and education as a basic human right; and that Beethoven’s worldwide call, “Alle Menschen werden Brueder” become the basis for a Renaissance needed to secure the success of a New Just World Economic Order. If the UN is to perform any useful role in the coming period, the legacy of Yehudi Menuhin should be revived, for his role as a world citizen of remarkable talent is in harmony with Schiller’s conviction that all humans are endowed with the potential for genius.

Harlem Loves Nukes

Harlem loves nuclear power.  why cant we have some, India has all the fun, and China and Russia too.  The greenies and the Wall St London UK crowd are too disgusting, they have to go.

Jan. 15, India's Prime Minister Manmohan Singh laid the foundation stone for the country's largest nuclear power plant, at Gorakhpur village in the Fatehabad district of Haryana. The plant's first two units of indigenous nuclear reactors, developed by the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd (NPCIL), will produce 1400 MW. Two additional reactors of 700 MW capacity each at the same site will receive approval in the 13th plan period (2017-2021), by which time, the first two units will be operational. The actual construction work will begin in June 2015, after which, it may take five and a half years for the first unit to be ready and another six months for the second unit. Both units are likely to produce commercial electricity by 2020-21. The 2800 MW nuclear power plant in Haryana is to be followed by two more 2800 MW nuclear power units, at Bhimpur in Madhya Pradesh and Mahi Banswara in Rajasthan. In addition, a 1400 MW unit will be built at Chutka in Madhya Pradesh.
While laying the foundation stone of the $4 billion project, the Prime Minister said that the people of Haryana have set an example by adopting such an advanced method of power generation. A total of around 1,500 acres of land in the villages of Gorakhpur, Kajalheri, and Badopal, in the district Fatehabad, have been acquired for the project and $120 million has been paid to 847 families of these villages as compensation.
The agreement reached with the people in acquiring the land, is considered a welcome respite amidst recent rounds of opposition, orchestrated by various anti-nuclear forces, that New Delhi faced in obtaining land for installations of nuclear power plants.
During the construction stage, a maximum of 8,000 persons (when construction of Stage-I will be nearing completion and construction of Stage-II will be started) will be deployed; and up to the final stage of the project about, 1,700 workers will be required (covering technical and general administration).
