Sources within the Kesha Rogers for Senate campaign are reporting that in addition to the feedback they are getting from daily field deployments throughout the state, and encounters with local media, which show a growing receptivity to Kesha's candidacy among a broad cross-section of the population, the campaign is now getting a growing indication of panic among Dem insiders, who fear that they may not be able to contain the Rogers' candidacy.
Several individuals with inside knowledge of the discussions occurring in Austin and elsewhere, among defenders of the Obama presidency among Party hacks, have told us that those leaders have concluded that Alameel is worse than ineffective, and appears to have been a poor choice to head the "Stop Rogers" campaign. They rallied around Alameel because he is "self-funding," i.e., no direct cost to the Party. They also believed that their offensive against Rogers, saying "She is not a Democrat," would be adequate to defeat her.
There has been significant blow-back against this, including among Hispanics who have taken money from Alameel, who were exposed by the Rogers campaign for their heavy-handed exclusion of Kesha from regular events. The Dallas LULAC Council that excluded Rogers has been widely attacked by leaders of other Councils, and may even extend a new invitation to Kesha. One of our sources said that the Party leaders are creating sympathy for Rogers, in reaction to what is seen as "bullying" and "unfair practices." It is also increasing interest in Rogers — some active Democrats are asking, "what is it that has Party leaders so worked up?"
Further, Alameel's recent campaign appearances have been underwhelming, as he is both inarticulate, and has nothing to say, were he articulate! He is now being trotted out at events in San Antonio, where he offers free lunches and dinners for anyone who will listen to him make a short speech.
The campaign reports that they may also be smoking out an operation among Bush Republicans against Kesha, as they have had at least two widely separated instances of someone who identifies with the GOP telling us that they heard that, while Kesha sounds good — especially her insistence on Obama's impeachment — she is part of a deception operation, run by Harry Reid, to elect liberal Democrats disguised as opponents of Obama!

Moving the leverage ratio won't change anything, says Dr. Gerrald Epstein — only Glass Steagall will change the fact that today's banks do nothing for the real economy.

Epstein, co-director of the Political Economy Research Institute (PERI) and a member of the anti-free-market Center for Popular Economics, both at Amherst College in Massachusetts, was interviewed on the Real News Network by Sharmini Peries from Baltimore, on the recent decision by U.S. regulators to raise the reserve requirement for banks from 3% to 5%. Epstein said this is meaningless, since banks didn't even keep to the 3% leverage ratio, using off-balance-sheet assets, "risk-weighted asset valuations" (which allows so-called low-risk assets to be valued at less than face value, but, of course, "using false models that would show that the assets were really safer than they were"), and exotic derivatives, to make it appear that "they had almost no capital to speak of in the lead-up to the crisis."

Asked what he recommended, he said to end the use of risk-weighted assets and off-balance-sheet assets, lift the reserve ratio to 10% (Brown Vitter), and implement Glass-Stegall:

"Elizabeth Warren and others have proposed a reinstatement of the Glass-Steagall Act,"he said."That is, a separation of the very risky speculative kind of banking from more boring banking that is actually serving the needs of the real economy. So implementing something like that would also help, because, after all, we're not just looking at the risk that the taxpayers are going to have to bail out the banks, as important as that is. We're also talking about what it is the banks are actually doing to help the economy."

Epstein adds:"We really can't rely anymore on these big Wall Street banks, if we ever did rely on them, because they simply don't have an interest in supporting the people in the real economy."

Yesterday, Elizabeth Warren responded to an intervention by LaRouche PAC organizers in Boston by pledging to go all out for Glass-Steagall after the current Congressional break.

Burt Wides, a veteran Congressional staffer, who headed the Church Committee's investigation of the CIA back in 1975-76, stated in an interview with RealNewsNetwork, that there are two factors that require a new Church Committee-type independent investigation of the intelligence agencies: (1) that the Congressional oversight committees "are so entangled in this imbroglio with the CIA and the Justice Department," and (2) Obama's failure to investigate the abuses that took place during the Bush administration during "Cheney's war on terror." Wides helped to originally create the House and Senate Intelligence Committees, and was involved in investigating Cheney's war on terror for Rep. John Conyers and the House Judiciary Committee. Wides has served as counsel or chief of staff to three U.S. Senators and two Congressional Committees.
Wides stated there's been some pressure for an independent investigation, but "it never came about because Obama didn't want it," and because the two intelligence committees didn't want to give up their jurisdiction to a third, independent body.
Wides further remarked that, as a result of the Church Committee revelations, "at least the liberal community was outraged, and especially because they were spying on First Amendment activities of Americans dissenting, etc." But in contrast today, "What I find among many of the same types of liberals who were outraged then ... (now) is 'I don't care, I don't care, even if they're spying on my First Amendment activities'" if there is some infinitesimal chance it will stop a terrorist attack. "That's the big change," Wides said.
Wides also made the point that, if Obama and the CIA want to keep something, like the Senate torture report, secret, that there is an established procedure by which the Senate can override the executive branch and make it public. (This is also the case vis-a-vis the suppressed 28 pages of the Joint Congressional Inquiry Report on 9/11.

did not write the message, he thought the content

should go out.

We quote it in part:

Obama Administration in any government in the

world or former administrations. To impose sanc

tions on Russia is absolutely INSANE!!!! That

puts Putin in a box that he cannot escape from, for

if he relaxes, he is then seen as weak at home and

the hardliners will eat him alive. Obama has just

made the crisis far worse.

all nuclear treaties. It can shut off the energy to

Europe and watch them crawl. Now, any interna

The question posed deserves a serious answer.

the aim of this insane, provocative behav

The answer is what most strategic thinkers,

including in the targeted countries like Russia and

China, want to avoid. Obama is not acting “on his

own” or from his own convictions; he is, whether

he knows it or not, following a script which was

written for him by the British monarchy, and

which is intended to force Russia and China to ca

pitulate to their demands. The result of such a ca

pitulation, as intended as well, is to suppress tech

nological progress and carry out a

depopulation

policy worldwide, in a mode similar to that of the

Roman Empire, which carried out a dramatic

depopulation campaign during its dominant

years.

And if Russia will

not

capitulate, the British

Empire may just be insane enough to have their

puppet Obama “push the thermonuclear button,”

exterminating most of the population of the planet.

This reality shouldn’t surprise anyone who has

watched what the British imperial financial system

has been doing over the decades since President

Kennedy’s death. The deep-sixing of advanced

technologies such as nuclear and fusion power,

the degradation of living standards, the collapse
